While using Nero, you only need to drag and drop files in the interface. With a simple disc-burning interface, burning video files is quick and easy. As compared to Ashampoo Burning Studio and CDBurnerXP, Nero is a much better choice. Moreover, all the applications are organized with home screens and file drop zones, letting you manage every project with ease. As such, it saves a good amount of your time. With an attractive welcome screen divided into easily accessible blocks, the launcher covers a wide range of tasks in a centralized location. Simply put, it’s the gateway to several functions that work in an intuitive and clear manner. It provides you with quick access to some of the most commonly used features in the program. I also regularly contribute to podcasts and video documentaries for History Extra and History Hit TV.With plenty of features, Nero is an excellent tool, empowered by the reliable Quick Start Launcher. I have twice contributed to BBC Radio programmes on ancient Roman topics: BBC Radio 3's Sunday Feature: The Deluxe Edition, and BBC Radio 4's In Our Time: Nero. I have published articles in the Times Literary Supplement, the BBC History Magazine, the BBC World Histories Magazine, and History Today.

I am also co-author of a series for the online media outlet The Conversation, entitled ‘ Mythbusting Ancient Rome’, and have twice appeared on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s national radio programme Conversations with Richard Fidler. In June 2021, I was became an elected member of the Council of the Roman Society, UK (2021-24). In April 2021, I was elected to a position on the University Senate (2021-24). My first monograph The Nero-Antichrist: Founding and Fashioning a Paradigm was published in spring 2020 with Cambridge University Press. In particular, I have worked extensively on the Emperor Nero’s portrayal in Christian history as the Antichrist, and have published on portrayals of Roman emperors in the works and letters of Oscar Wilde. My research interests include the roles of Roman emperors in post-classical texts, Roman religions, and imperial historiography. Prior to this, I lectured in Roman history and Latin at the University of Queensland, Australia (2015-17) and the University of Manchester (2013-15). I joined the Department of Humanities at Roehampton in December 2017.
